  • Cloud bookkeeping — Xero, MYOB and Hubdoc, set up and run properly
  • Payroll — STP and Payday Super compliant, every pay run
  • BAS, IAS and GST — prepared and lodged on time, every time
  • Tax planning — legal strategies applied before 30 June, when they still matter
  • Growth advisory — budgets, forecasts, margins and honest benchmarking

Local knowledge, national reach

We know the Territory — its seasons, its industries, its grant programs — and with offices in Darwin, Palmerston, Brisbane, Sydney and Perth, we support businesses right across Australia through cloud systems and online meetings.

Small business FAQs

What business structure should I use?

It depends on your risk, growth plans, family situation and tax position. Sole trader is simple but offers no asset protection; companies cap tax at the corporate rate but add compliance; trusts add flexibility for families. We model the realistic options for your circumstances — structure should serve the business, not the other way around.

Can you take over from my current accountant?

Yes, and it's easier than you'd expect. With your authority, we handle the professional handover directly with your previous accountant — files, ATO nominations and software access — with no awkward conversation required from you.

Do you work with Xero or MYOB?

Both, daily — plus Hubdoc for paperless receipt capture. If you're still on spreadsheets or a shoebox, we'll recommend and set up the platform that fits your business and train you on it.

What does Payday Super mean for my payroll?

From 1 July 2026, super must reach your employees' funds within 7 business days of each payday — the quarterly system is gone, and penalties for missing the window are significant. Our payroll service handles it automatically; see our Payday Super article for the details.

How much do you charge small businesses?

Most business clients are on fixed monthly packages covering bookkeeping, BAS, payroll and annual compliance, scoped to your size — so you can budget with certainty. Book a free consultation and we'll quote your situation honestly.
